Ok first off, I may give spoilers so if you haven’t read CWP then read no more, but it is mainly my thoughts, feels, and understandings alone.

So, I received my copy of clockwork princess in Easter, and have only recently decided to read it whilst at work, and whilst I am completely in love with Cassandra Clare’s writings, I have fallen more in live with the Charicture’s in the Infernal Devices, and am still in love with the Heroine Tessa Grey.

Now, for a second ill go off topic and say I have nothing wrong with Clary Fay, I think she’s kick ass and as far as female teen heroines go, out smashes Bella from Twilight. But I find myself likening Tessa that little bit more, sure they both have two guys they love and they two guys love them back, but the triangle with Tessa, Jem and Will I have most certainly enjoyed reading.

To feeling so sorry for Will and lost for Jem, to want to reach into the pages and comfort Charicture’s that are not real, to wish to spend a moment in their lives or help them along! When Jems attacks become more life threatening, or when Wills secret is out! Even for when Tessa if faced with handing over herself in exchange for a drug that prolongs her husbands life.

Now since reading City of Lost Souls I have began to have this theory that Jem becomes a Silent Brother. And I have only just discovered the Family tree in the back of the book and because if a line I have read that only spread these suspictions!

And yet whilst I am just starting Chapter 11 I find myself more absorbed in finding out about the chartures that are related to our heros in The mortal Instruments.

Now sure, I’m against reading stories wher the detail is all “I love_____ but I also love ____ ” *coughtwighlightcought * but I find myself again drawn to this book, to the Charicture’s such as the Lightwoods, the Herondales, and yes, even to Sophie and Magnus ( still )

As much as I wish to know if the Charicture’s re -appear in TMI.

But I shall continue my readings and such, and I can’t wait to finish this book, read the next instalments and of the next mortal instruments book, and then the next books by a wonderful artist.
